SMK is a multi-cultural producer, engineer, and artist with Cambodian roots. Raised in Zambia and adopted by German parents, his unique background infuses his sound, which draws from Afrobeats, Hip-Hop, and RnB/Pop influences. With over a decade of experience in the music industry, SMK has had the privilege of collaborating with a variety of artists.

In July 2024, he co-produced the 10-track album L'essence De Jadis by Rubin Kind, marking a significant milestone in his career. Earlier, in 2018, he worked closely with one of Somalia’s biggest artists, Lil Balii, on their breakout track Haaiweeydiin, which has since amassed over 1 million streams across platforms.

As a mixing and recording engineer, SMK has partnered with notable artists such as Roberto Zambia, Lil Baliil, IsmaIP, Chisenga, and CBlack.

To date, SMK’s work as a producer and engineer has garnered more than 7 million streams globally. Looking ahead, he has exciting projects lined up for 2025, including collaborations with artists such as JILIAAN, Breezy, Lil Baliil, Imvnyel, and an EP with Rubin Kind.
